HP support of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 is ending soon

Microsoft will end support and updates for these platforms in early 2023. As a result, HP will no longer provide software or drivers for Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 for HP printers released after November 1, 2022.

For printers released before November 1, 2022, print drivers and software are available through HP Support for the forseeable future. However, HP will discontinue maintenance as of November 1, 2022.

To continue setup in this operating system, select Open HP Support and search your printer model. You can also upgrade to Windows 11, Windows10 v1809 or higher, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2016. You can also switch to a different operating system for setup.

1. Office of RNI has been receiving complaints from prospective publishers and public about getting telephonic calls/ messages/ e-mails, from those posing as Agents/ Consultants/middlemen on behalf of this Office, offering/ extending their help for a fee in getting the work expedited at RNI.
2. Please be informed that such messages/offers are fraudulent and Office of RNI has nothing to do with such messages/offer of help. Office of RNI does not have any Consultants/ Agents or designated branches anywhere in India.
3. Services offered by RNI are free of cost. Title Verification and all other Registration related applications are processed by RNI in compliance with the PRB (Press & Registration of Books) Act 1867 and Guidelines framed from time to time, from its office situated at 9th floor, Soochna Bhawan, New Delhi 110003.
4. Publishers and Public are advised not to fall for such frauds or touts and instead, check with the Office of RNI before responding to any such messages, emails or offer. We would appreciate any such cases being intimated to this office so that the same can be brought to the notice of law enforcement agencies.
